Produced by SP Charan and Selvakumar, Thirudan Police is an ‘Attakathi’ Dinesh and Aishwarya Rajesh starrer, directed by newcomer Caarthick Raju. The quirky trailer of the movie has created a certain level of expectation and with that the movie is releasing this weekend.
Talking about his maiden venture, the director says, “Thirudan Police is an action-comedy that is primarily based on the conflicts of opinion between a father and son. The film portrays the perspectives of both father and the son and it also shows how the son, in the later part of his life, understands the reason behind certain actions of his dad.”
“The exciting thing about the film is that I wrote it based on the popular hide and seek game”
On why we shouldn’t miss the film, the director points out, “Firstly, the film will rekindle the deep affection that one has for his/her father”
“Secondly, we have tried to show the hard lives of police constables, who stand the whole day under the scorching sun in the busy roads of T Nagar and Guindy. Breaking all the filmy stereotypes on police, we have made a film as real as possible.”
“At the same time, we haven’t compromised on the entertainment factor. In fact, the film will stand special for its different treatment of the climax sequence.”
“Also, watch out for (Naan Kadavul) Rajendran. He appears as a woman in the movie. I believe, he’ll be the most talked about character in the movie”
