Sibiraj’s comeback venture ‘Naaigal Jaakirathai’ had earned profits for
the producer, distributors, and theatre owners to emerge as a surprise
winner. In a recent interview to a popular daily, Sibiraj confirms the
sequel to the dog centric movie and mentioned that the shooting will
start by the end of next year. Sources say that there is a heavy demand
for the remake rights in Hindi & Telugu.
The movie is still running in close to 50 screens even after the release of Superstar’s ‘Lingaa’ all over the state. Both Sibiraj and Shakti Sounder Rajan waited for 4 years after ‘Naanayam’ to taste the success.
